Well, hope Dan finishes soon, I have to break-in the motor before it goes to the track. Won't be next weekend, but weekend after I am hoping. If you guys end up going next weekend, I will drive up with ya's so long as I don't have to work! Good shit Guys. Are you going to calculate performance gained per mod?

Whats the mileage on this GT? Must be low. Seeing this kinda stuff makes me want to keep my 92 LX.

It has 105,000 miles right now. I'm guessing this car has been babied its entire life. Actually, I told Gabriel the wrong tire width, they are 225 mm. I would like a 1.7 60 ft. on street tires, that's crazy!!

Have you taken a thorough look at the car? My buddy has an 88LX that he bought from the "original" owner. When the car ran a 13.5 we started to wonder why. This car appeared to be bone stock although it did have 3.27 gears and dyno max muffs. Upon closer inspection we spied GT40 ribs on the heads. Apparently the REAL original owner had ford put a warranty motor in it and this came in the form of an iron headed GT40 motor with the B303 camshaft.

Don't mind how the second quote looks. I tried to manually do a quote and it didn't make it bold.

But I have worked on so many 5 point slows and have seen so much crap. One time I worked on this point that had the heads replaced by ford and they actually put GT-40s on I guess the guy raised such a fuss and DORF and wanted his car back NOW that they threw the only heads they had in stock on it??? Maybe. Dunno but he was the original owner and told me the heads were replaced by ford. But nothing beats the GT40 crate motor in my buddies (he still has it) "original" owner 88LX. -----That's cool. Sounds like that could have been the case for those heads. But it has a B-303 though?
