55k vs 68k
Power vs Handling
What would you rather have?
I would personally rather go for handling but for the price the GT500 seems a way better deal overall.

GT350 hands down. Slap a whipple on them and they put down 850rwhp. Power, handling and rareness

If the 68 grand is affordable to you then the GT 350 hands down is worth it.

I would chose a 2013 GT500 over a GT350 anyday. Now if next year they introduce a now S550 GT500...I will be selling mine to get that =). I have always been a horsepower junkie. Whatever makes the most power is what ends up in my garage.

What's your purpose? do u want just straight line performance or something that's it's just fun and track monster. As I'm getting older I don't care about hp anymore but more of wants fun to drive.
If I was in the market and had that money to spend gt350. [ 2016-02-20, 08:39 PM: Message edited by: losbadgts ]

GT350s are way nice, I think that'd be my next move if I was looking. Though they're not quite as fast as a 500, I think you get the whole package with the gt350

Real talk the new ones nice but it's first year produced. I'd go 17 over 13-14. But 13-14 is where it's at and without the dealer markup.

I just went through this! However, for me it was between the 13/14 Shelby and the 16 Challenger Hellcat.
At first, I was leaning towards the Hellcat, but the mark ups were out of control. Also, I didn't like the Hellcat enough to want to pay $75-$80k for a Dodge. Then I thought, it's not about what you can afford, it's really about "value".
Every newer car is a depreciating asset, but if you like the car enough and see the "value", get it! If not, keep looking.
I went with the 13 Shelby because I found one with very low miles and was flawless. Finally drive it and it was a done deal!
Short answer: Drive both and decide based on which one you really want and if it's worth the asking price. That's what we call "value".

gt350, the 13 gt500 is already "outdated". Really is, put both next to each other, gt350 imo.

All we have to do is wait till the next latest and greatest car comes out...then the GT350s will be sitting on the lot and dealers will be giving you below MSRP for them. There will always be another better car. Otherwise, car manufacturers would be out of business. Don't give in and pay any dealer markup. use that markup money for mods on your car. If you are a true enthusiast, you will wait till the time is right because you know the value of the vehicle.
But if you have money to throw away...by all means buy the car at whatever price you want. Just be aware that the ADM will be money wasted that you will never be able to recover if you do decide to sell it.

The gt500 styling is blehh at best, especially in the "powder blue" to each their own, the white gt350 on the forum is beautiful.
