Seems like this question gets asked at least once a week. We should have a dedicated thread by now.

We stopped tuning Pre 96 cars about 2 years ago, but still supported those we previously tuned. However, recently due to high demand I have taken in foxes for tuning again.
Assuming the vehicle is in sound mechanical and electrical condition I will tune older cars, but as everyone knows we are very particular about what we put on our dyno and run at 150+MPH at wide open throttle.
Couple of things to ensure before bringing a Fox/SN95 in for tuning:
1. Degree in your balancer. This is KEY in setting accurate ignition timing. 2. Make sure your O2 sensors are in good working order. 3. Make sure no fuses are blown and all electrical connections are sound. 4. Make sure you are running the correct spark plugs with the correct plug gap for the application. 5. Make sure your distributor is installed correctly. 6. Make sure your plug wires, cap, and rotor are in good shape.
A tune does not Fix mechanical problems.
