Like the title says. Trying to think of a car that makes a nice dd. I've seen infinitys g35 4 door go between that price range(2004). Seem to be a good car, but don't know much about them as far as mechanical or electrical issues... Mostly looking for 4 door cars... Any ideas on what makes a good dd for that price range? Thanks for any help.

SVT Focus, BMW E36 M3 and Lexus IS300 are a few to look at.

4 door and not boring. If it's a stick shift even better.. Want to stay way from BMW because if something goes wrong it's expansive to fix.

For 6k you can get these, nice and reliable: 2003-2005 accord between 120-150k miles 2004-2006 Acura tl between 130k-165k miles 2002-2004 Lexus is300 between 140k-160k
I'd stay away from BMW Mercedes and Audi just going to be repair after repair.
If any of the cars listed above don't convince you I'd use the money as a down for something 2010+.. I ended up picking up a 2013 Altima for 12k. If you get something around 12k with 6k down your monthly will be about $130 for 60 months which is nothing. Goodluck

I have an 05 Focus zx4 as my dd. it's a four door with an auto. Gets good gas mileage and my kids can do what they want in it. That constitutes a daily driver in my opinion.
