Not a Ford but thinking of doing a wide body on my Z. Not a cheap mod by any means, is it worth it or not in your guys opinion? Be honest. Thanks fellas.

I don't want the price to play a part in the decision cause if I say how much everyone will tell me I can buy another car lol... but the whole process with parts and paint is around $18k [ 2014-09-16, 04:20 PM: Message edited by: Nastysvt ]

I think its not worth 8k. However it's your car and will be something different [ 2014-06-30, 03:35 PM: Message edited by: 68dustin ]

leave ur car as is..its already bad ass without all that fancy body crap. if u have an extra 8k burning a hole in your pocket i would add the kit if you like it a lot and u could care less on resale down the line.

I've thought about that but That's just for the kit though. I'd have to still get it installed and tuned. And it would still be on the stock bottom end so I'd be looking at gains of maybe 50-60hp max before I start getting into that danger zone. I'd rather build the motor first

did you factor in the cost of new wheels too? i'm assuming that the widebody kit will call for something more aggressive offset/backspacing wise.
personally, i would say don't do it unless you had to have it and the kit fits like OEM. it does look sick, but sometimes too much is just too much.

Thought these internals are good up to 700-750rwhp?

I already have 3 piece wheels. I would just need to buy the lip at $350 a piece. That's factored into the price already
