I did a little photoshopping to try and figure out what rim/tire combo I want to go with on my 66 coupe. Let me know what you guys think I should do. I'm pretty torn on what to go with...
Currently how the car is...
Styled Steel wheels with white walls - "classy" old school look
Styled Steel wheels with raised white letter tires - "stock" agressive look
Chrome Magnum 500 wheels with raised white letter tires - "modded muscle car" look
PAINTED (silver) Magnum 500 wheels with raised white letter tires - This is the cheapest route. I can keep my current wheels, remove the beauty ring, and paint them silver. These painted Magnum 500s came on some GT models
Current wheels with raised letter tires - this would be the cheapest option since I'd just have to buy tires

Seriously? Why? I think it looks decent as-is but it doesn't scream "muscle car" in my opinion

With the beauty rings and all, or painted silver like the last picture?

Go with some 15x7 styled steel with bf goodrich raised letters. Maybe you can photoshop this one.

+1. In a way the others seem out of place for some reason, might be the photoshop skills tho.

I'd go with the last option. I've never been a huge fan of the styled steel wheels.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys! My photoshop skills aren't up to par but I think they paint an overall picture of how the car "would look" if I got the wheels that are photoshopped in the pic.
**iceman/Dave, I know you've owned quite a few vintage mustangs. Have you ever seen the real Shelby painted Magnum 500's in person? In the pics I found online, they're almost a primer gray color. They're subtle and aggressive on the Shelby's but I'm not sure they'd go well with my car being that it's not fast by any means lol. They remind me of how blacked out rims are in today's generation of muscle cars.

This car is perfect in my opinion, but it's lowered. I plan to keep my car stock ride height. No need to photoshop the wheels off this car since it's almost identical to mine already (minus the chrome trim on the bottom).

+1 for styled steels and raised white letter tires with a lowering job as well.
IMO the Magnums never looked right on the early cars.
