They popped the hood to check for some sticker and checked the vin. They didn't check for any thing else. It's a two step process, you need to do a vin verification with the inspectors and then go to the counter for registration.<br /><br />The first time I did it, I went to the counter first who gave me the VIN verification form, then had to wait a long time for inspection, then return to the counter. It took about 1/2 a day.<br /><br />The second time I downloaded the form first, got in line for vehicle inspection at 7:30 am (was #2 in line) got the paperwork completed then went in for my appt.
