Hey CA Fords,
I'm about to buy a new car battery and was curious of any recommendations. I usually buy Die Hard Golds but they haven't been to impressive for me so I wanted to try something different. Please let me know your recommendations.
Thanks,
Robert

Which dealer did you go to and how much did it cost you?

We just recently switched to interstate at my work about a month or 2 ago. So far so good in all our electric pallet jacks ( those take 4 batteries each and we have 7 of them.) We are currently working on switching all the big rigs over to them as they are needed too.

Die hard no longer makes the gold for mustangs. I had an Optima red top and it sucked. I would try interstate

if you got the cash northstar batt. if not then diehard platinum hands down nothing going to touch it for the price
but also odyessy, xs power, deka
do not get a optima they suck and now made in mexico and are just crap now. get your self an agm. make sure its charged when you get it. will be the best batt you ever own
ide go with to sears get the die hard plat.
autozone makes a agm platinum also its cheaper. made buy a good company.
for budget and just need a batt.... Costco
my regular cotsco batt is on 4th winter. been in 2 cars. and has had to be jumped at least 10x. its a good batts. its about 85 percent of a batt from when it was new. it reast at 12.0-12.1

I have the interstate battery in my foxbody. Works great. No issues at all. But if ur gonna buy any battery. U better get the best one that brand carries. I paid about $160 for mine but has 1000ca and 800cca. Or u can sample all. Buy and echange till u like one. Ha!

I was just thinking the same thing. I've run 2 Optimas in two of my cars, for the last 10 years. I just replaced one of them after 160k miles, and the other is still going strong. Needless to say, I had no hesitation replacing the one Optima with another (now the 3rd Optima I've bought). My dad also uses Optimas and has had similar results.
