Not sure how factual this is but I know for a fact there is way too much of this going on. Just received this email.
-------------------------------------------------
This is exactly why Mitt Romney said that 40 some % of the people are too dependent on the government. They have learned to work the system.
A Ford Dealer's Report
From Tom Selkis' (Latham Ford) Facebook.......... True story yesterday at the dealership.....
"I'll try to make this as short and to the point as I can. One of my salesmen here had a woman in his office yesterday wanting to lease a brand new Focus. As he was reviewing her credit app with her he noticed she was on social security disability. He said to her you don't look like you're disabled and unable to work. She said well I'm really not, I could work if I wanted to but I make more now than I did when I was working and got hurt (non-disabling injury). She said the gov't sends her $1500.00 a month in 1 check, she gets $700.00 a month on an EBT card (food stamps), and $800.00 a month for rent. Oh yeah and 250 minutes free on her phone. That is just south of $3500.00 a month. When she was working she was taking home about $330.00 per week. Do the math and then ask yourself why the hell should she go back to work. If you multiply that by millions of people you start to realize the scope of the problem we face as a country. Once the socialist have 51% of the population in that same scenario we are finished. The question is when do we cross that threshold if we haven't already, and there are not enough people working to pay enough taxes to support the non-working people? Riots?? Be prepared to protect your homes.
She didn't lease the Focus here because the dealer down the road beat our deal $by 10.00/month. Glad to know she is so frugal with her hard earned money."

I believe it. When I was selling cars, I had a gentleman come in wanting to buy a truck. He was a hard working construction worker. He filled out a credit app, I submited it to the finance company, and waited for a reply. The gentleman went to lunch while we waited for the answer. In the mean time, there was a family that came in, looking at that same truck. There was 5 separate members, all of which were on some kind of assistance from the government and I would say 3 of them should have been able to hold down some kind of job. The other salesman, took a credit app and submited it to the same finance co. Hand to god, the family on assitance got approved and the construction worker got denied. I reviewed both credit apps, and reports and their scores were similar, pretty much same type of credit history. I called the finance company to get an answer on why my guy got turned down, but the family got approved. Hand to god, the finance company came back and said that the construction workers income wasnt stable, and that he could end up not being able to pay in the future. I was pretty pissed, and didnt send the finance company a deal for quite a long time. I actually refered the guy to a competitor because they had a similar truck. I couldn't tell the guy why he got turned down, I just told him the other sales person sold it.

Don't think story is true. Disability is based off a percentage of your wages when you worked. No way she gets $3500 when she only made a $1000 a month. Something isn't right.

One of my techs comes to the hospital last year shortly after my accident while I'm still in the hospital and tells me he is no longer gonna work for my company because they offered him the same kind of deal...said he could not work and after taxes, come out 50 bucks a month ahead. He left last march.

I have job offered people who were unemployed who turned down positions because they make more on unemployment. I had an employee i hired ask me for less hours so unemployment would make up the difference on his checks. We make it to easy for people. I heard recently that the average family on government assistance receives 60k in free benefits a year. This shit is out of control!!!

It is possible. People find every angle to work the system.
My parents own 2 rentals & I remember one woman was on section 8. Her portion of the rent was 200 a month. We the tax payers were paying the other 1000.00
She had an EBT card/food stamps. I didn't ask how much she received but can tell you a the time she had 3 kids and was pregnant with another.
Her PG&E was at a lower rate then us. Her average PG&E bill was less then 50 bucks a month.
I had to do some work under the house and also needed to come in the flip a breaker one time. She had a 70" tv with all the HBO,Showtime channels.
The only thing she didn't receive a check for was disability....... But in all seriousness she was receiving A LOT the money. Also working under the table for her mom babysitting Special Needs Children.

The system can definitely be manipulated. I know first hand of someone in NY who is receiving welfare payments, food stamps, section 8 housing support (to the tune of $1200 a month), reduced utility bills, and an Obama phone. Here's the kicker, he never paid a dime in taxes. All of his jobs (mostly house painting) were off the books. Yeah, it's a great country. You can throw up as many BS flags as you want but that's the straight up truth.

Some of the shit I've seen while on the job and the people I have come into contact with none of this stuff surprises me anymore, it will never stop because everyone gets some kickback here and there, just like when you see the people who run all the agencies who are supposed to work with the needy driving a mercedes or when you're at the store buying bread and Ms. EBT in front of you is talking on her cell phone getting steaks!

LOL you have too much pride to ride that train brother, that's the problem with this country too huge of a rift between the guy who will bust his ass painting cars, working at the grocery store etc and the freeloaders who wouldn't take a job even if you handed them one.

I investigate Workmans comp insurance claims for a livng. Let me tell you, I investigated this illegal in Dublin. Was on the job as a tree trimmer for 3 weeks before pulling a workers comp claim. That was 7 years ago. I was able to nail his ass and got refutable video as he did his yard work for approximatly an hour. He will evenualy get his claim revoked.
Most likely, he will get another job for a few weeks before he does it all over again.
Got great video of this asshole jumping out of a lifted truck with an ankle injury after parking and diplaying a handicap plaque.
I hate fucking low life mother fuckers.
