In Danville, Brass Bear and Dominico's are two good delis. In Walnut Creek my fav is Genova. Any place that has Boar's Head brand meats is gonna be good.

Went to Ike's Lair yesterday for the first time. It's in Danville but WELL worth the mini-cruise!! Best around.
Eric's deli is not too bad either.

My favorite place to get a sandwich is joes buffet in Fairfield. That place fills up quick surfing lunch with Travis AFB being close by. French Dip FTMFW.

I know you get nothing else on your sandwiches but hit up food basket by kaiser, they have a harris ranch meat market and use boars head meat on their deli sandwiches. Crick and his wife laced me up on that place!

"Fresh Baked" Downtown San Jose. The sourdough rolls are pulled out of the oven as you order and the cold cuts are always sliced minutes before you order (sometimes still warm). Gotta love steamy soft sourdough with a lightly crispy shell.
