In Danville, Brass Bear and Dominico's are two good delis. In Walnut Creek my fav is Genova. Any place that has Boar's Head brand meats is gonna be good.

Went to Ike's Lair yesterday for the first time. It's in Danville but WELL worth the mini-cruise!! Best around.

Eric's deli is not too bad either.

My favorite place to get a sandwich is joes buffet in Fairfield. That place fills up quick surfing lunch with Travis AFB being close by.

I know you get nothing else on your sandwiches but hit up food basket by kaiser, they have a harris ranch meat market and use boars head meat on their deli sandwiches. Crick and his wife laced me up on that place!

"Fresh Baked" Downtown San Jose. The sourdough rolls are pulled out of the oven as you order and the cold cuts are always sliced minutes before you order (sometimes still warm). Gotta love steamy soft sourdough with a lightly crispy shell.

Guerra's Quality Meats , SF, the selection of cold cuts and cheese , sliced breads, rolls! The turkey breast meat is cooked on site daily, they got boars head and , the corned beef is brined on site the old schoo way, by injecting each piece one at a time. So I get the corned beef and cole slaw!

They do really good wild game processing also. I've had some outstanding wild pig sausage and venison pepperoni sticks made there.

Cant really go wrong with an Eric's Deli sandwich. Usually get the R.E.O speed wagon. Dont like sprouts but they taste good on that samich.

Oak's card club in oakland has a decent tri-tip sanguish too. U just gotta get there early enough before they run out
