What does he stand for on? I only ask because I haven't voted yet, and I'm not really clear on his positions. Other than that he'll create 12 million jobs and he knows how to do it. Or is that all I need to hear and I should just vote for him? So let me know what he stands for.

I'm voting as an anti Obama vote.
I don't like Obama care
I don't like 16 trillion in debt when he himself told bush adding 4 trillion in debt was unpatriotic. He said he would cut it in half
I think raising taxing on the "rich" will be passed down to the working man.
I think we need less social programs and put term limits on the ones we have
He promised to have a "transparent" government and don't.
We have nothing at all about immigration reform. No attempt.

I'm not pro-Obama by any means... I'm not a fan of the way things have gone the last 4 years. But, is Romney going to be better? Or just a different flavor of bullshit?

He said he would repeal Obama care. I think he maybe will
Immigration reform. Been promised forever.
Not raise taxes on high earners
Cut our debt
Lets be real here these are only promises but I can't hold them against someone until they are broken.

Nothing but keep us out of a depression, saved gm, got rid of binladen, brought tons of troops back. Shit didn't get worse since he took over so i take that as major win considering the cluster fuck he was left with when he took over. Imagine if we would of had another 4 years of someone with some of the same views as bush, how bad would we be? we need to take a long break from any party that bush represents or represented

Saving GM is a mistake. Let's say you have a son who is of adult age. He runs up his credit cards, he's spending more than he takes home, he's on the verge of financial meltdown. You save the day by paying off his credit cards, give him money for his next 6 months of rent, etc. Did that teach him something? Sure, it taught him that no matter how his habits are, he can go on messing up and daddy will be there to clean up. I saw an article the other day about Jeeps being made in China, and I believe GM was shipping some jobs over there as well. How does that make you feel after you and I as tax payers bailed GM out, and there are people in this country that need a job?
Obama did not get Bin Ladin. Some of the baddest, bravest, highly trained American men got him. Not Hilary, not Romney, not Bush, not anyone else.
Troops are coming home, I'm kind of glad to see that - some of those bastards in the Middle East are ungrateful and they are shooting American troops in the back. To hell with them, let them build their own nation. But don't forget, that at the beginning of this administration, Obama pulled out a lot of troops and sent them over to Afghan.
OK, some people argue that we aren't in a depression, but is printing money giving us a false sense of security here, that things are back to normal? The cost of goods are rising. Take a look at food prices all over the board, they have gone up in the past few years. Unemployment hasn't exactly dropped to a desirable percentage. Yes, we here in Silicon Valley are blessed to have what I consider an economy of our own, so there are, for the most part, readily available jobs if you look hard enough. But that doesn't represent the rest of the nation as a whole.
Finally, I agree with you that I don't want to see another 4 years of Bush. Like I said in another thread, that's why I'm hesitant to give my nod to Romney. After all, Obamacare is based off of Romneycare.............. BUT, Romney is not a socialist/marxist. [ October 26, 2012, 12:28 AM: Message edited by: DLo ]

So the conclusion I see, is that people ether talking shit about Obama or support him but yet people are confuse cause knowone knows what mitt stands for, since mitt himself don't even know lol. I see a lot of people voting for mitt just because they want someone new. Sometimes we as Americans forget how ignorant we could be and just want things to changed in a dime but it doesn't work that way.

Roy - He stands for ... RomneyCare and invading Iran (hint - invisible terrorists, WMDs, another bullshit war on terror for 4yrs), expect 4yrs of great depression/recession, thousands of troops being murdered. Basically will be a repeat of Bush failure while he ran the office.

Do I hate Obama NO do I think Mitt is the total answer NO but to me it's more along the lines of what he doesn't stand for, ie more welfare and handouts of services for people who refuse to help themselves, more gun control, more rights for "ILLEGALS" and general Democrat lack of support for the military and law enforcement.
Plus I hear that Mitt hates Cobraracer, good enough for me! [ October 26, 2012, 01:13 AM: Message edited by: fstryde3 ]
