1) eliminate debt

Yeah back in my 20's I would have said buy a Lamborghini and hit the strip clubs in Vegas lol now honestly I'd pay off the credit, get a nice truck for the old lady and a Harley for me, whipple for the 03 and take a long trip to Europe to visit the folks.

I've always said that people with deep credit card debt have some deeper underlying problem... brain damage, intense OCD, keeping up with the Joneses syndrome, etc etc etc... something is driving that obsession to have the latest/greatest.
Of course there are some rare cases where it's medical or job loss and people are using credit cards to keep their head above water. But more often than not it's living beyond your means.
This is exactly why I don't lend people money (unless it's a medical/job loss situation involving survival).
I know there are people on this site who are stretching themselves into credit card debt to buy used Mustangs... a common symptom of brain damage, lol lol lol
