better this happens than it jacking up my camshaft again like last time [Embarrassed]

*SO HAD MY BOY CHECK OUT MY CAR AND DOESNT SOUND GOOD AT ALL....MAKE SOME KINDA OF METAL NOISE, MAYBE SPUN SOME KIND OF BEARING AND CAR HAS NO POWER AT ALL!*

no, I bought that gear for that reason....the first time I had the original steel gear and ended damaging the cam, Shaun then told me to buy this polymer gear so that the gear would get damaged and no the cam.....I called cam comp cams and they said usually that gear doesn't get damaged thay quick and to send it in for replacement

You could try a brass one, its stronger than that plastic gear and still softer than the cam so it should last. I had one in the past and it held up really well.

on the distributor the middle core piece starts to make noise, run like shit, gets all loose and just goes out....

how and y all this happens? i wish i knew
