I DRIVE to RENO for work few days a week so I've been looking for a DD so I decided to get an FJ, What you guys think?? Its a 2007 FJ (lift and bumpers coming soon) ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Open your guys' minds! Those FJ Cruisers are sick! Throw on a lift with some big tires and those look sick as hell! Congrats on the new ride...

Maybe if I seen one done up really cool then maybe it might change my thoughts on them I have yet to be wowed by one

I was close to getting a blue one but ended up getting a tacoma instead. They're very comfortable to drive and look like fun cars.

Sick FJ. I was about to get one back in 07 and I was soo soo close to getting it but I ended up bailing out hahaha..
I read a lot of reviews about the FJ and basically it is bad ass off-road.
Post pics when you slap that lift and new bumper.

I've seen a sick ass yellow one, blacked out rims with big ass tires, lifted, etc...they look COMPLETELY different once they're done up!

the couple things to look at for on fj are wheel bearing's going out on the front axel,an seen a couple rear diff's go bad. but there a nice truck to drive

There is a yellow one out here on some nice sized black rims. Looks pretty sick. I heard good things about these cars and people that own them are fanatical about them. Not my type of hype but I consider it a come up. Congrats.!!

hahaha no way man, This is a DD and I needed a 4x4 to get to work so I decided to get something I like. I'm sure having big cars and 4 wheeling is fun, But I'll keep my ass on pavement with fast cars.

I use to use my lifted Tacoma to commute it's an o7 prolly has the same motor and drivetrain as the fj. 3inch lift and 33's I still got good gas mileage and it is nice and comfy. Oh and I got 70k no wheel bearing problems or rear end problems and I will do an occasional brake stand here and there and burn that fucker out. Toyota trucks and SUVs besides the highlander are the shit!!! ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

read his post he needed a 4x4 to make it through the snow. I wouldn't leave that task to some 4cyl. And trust me the Toyota v6 gets pretty good mpg mine get 22-24 highway
