Yes, but now I would not be able to put a Titanium exhaust on my bike that helps for open track days, by producing more horsepower and saving weight.
Sportbike that is.

Sounds like the law is supposedly targeting the hardly riders. Just throw your bike in a truck and take it to the track. How much more HP do you need on your crotch rocket? My bike does low 10s stock and you dont really need to be going that much faster around traffic anyways.

I have to agree. There are a decent amount of responsible and respectful riders but more often than not there is always some fucker just revving at a stoplight for no reason.

Exactly! Anyone who is a gearhead should be against legislation like this. PERIOD. It's that "well, it doesn't affect me" attitude that allows our asshat legislators to get away with bullshit like this. United we stand, divided we fall cannot be further from the truth.

You do realize this isn't just about Harleys. It affects all motorcycles. If you think the government telling you what you can and cannot do with your property is cool, then maybe you should move to a place like Cuba or China.

This law is just another stepping stone to banning all modifications to every vehicle on the road.

Stand united with harley riders? Screw that, thats like if i joined you at one of your no on prop 8 rallies. If a law makes sense then i support it, and to watch harley riders get as harrassed by cops for being loud as hell would be worth this law alone. Laws for exhaust and your music being turned up loud will always exist and they are not going away. Its about time for some fairness when it comes to these pricks.

Thats exactly what the law states anyways, its up to police to enforce them and they do so depending on how much of a prick you are to them.
