The fight of the night was the first one... Griffin vs. Thames I think.

Does anyone else think Liddell is approaching "has been" status? Overall, I just don't think he's well rounded enough to consistently compete any more.

I agree. I was surprised, but it was good to see him win, especially the way that he did.

I agree. He is not gonna sleep on his left side. That shit was RAW. Chuck is done and the young breed is more hungry and willing to work harder.
And how about the San Jose boy John Fitch.

The main reason behind Forrest Griffin's newly improved fight game can be summed up in two words....Randy Couture. Randy has been training Forrest very intensively at Xtreme Couture in LV on his ground game and is working in the clinch. When I heard that Forrest beat Rua I was floored. That's a HUGGGGGGGE victory for Forrest. So now more than likely Forrest will either fight Jackson for the title or possibly Henderson and then Jackson for the title.
Chuck wise...LOL I honestly expected the bout to end within the first round in either fighter's favor honestly. Jardine comes in hard and fast and Chuck does not like to be bullied right off the bat. I would have NEVER expected that match to come to a decision victory for Jardine though. I think Chuck's fucked career wise. He's been slacking training wise, eating poorly (according to sources) and working more intensively on his monitary investments than he has his fight game. He's only a couple of years away from 40 so perhaps it's his time to hang up the gloves (or for now at least).
I'm Diego lost. He's a typical loudmouth POS with a bad temper. Not a good combo in MMA.

if liddel opens up his game he could be alot better. Every one has his technique down, he throws a left jab right hook and circles to the left. Thats why he couldnt do anything everytime he tried to circle out he caught a kick to the left side and the fact that they dont have to worry about him taking them down. I honestly think he would be savage on the ground if he wanted, think of how fast he gets up when hes down.
