For offering 0% financing on new Mustangs!
Yes, I bought a black on black 06 GT.
Sadly though, I did sell the L.
Edit: It is ALL Hidnnos' fault for this. He brought his car by yesterday morning and it got me thinking...so I'm blaming this on him! [ September 03, 2006, 09:55 PM: Message edited by: JohnB ]

Naa, I figure as slow as your Cobra is...I'd put a hitch on it and you could tow me.
I'll be looking for a beater truck soon.

Damn nice pick up John. After seeing your post in the For(d) sale section about looking for an 03-04 Cobra and trading your 93, i had visions of someone else posting up a 9.99 timeslip on here with your car . Glad you came to your senses and kept her.

Looks great! I've found the new mustangs are extremely easy to work on, ford redesigned a lot of the problem areas, except the drive by wire sucks.

Thanks fellas!
I picked it up for $400 over invoice. No crazy schemes, I just asked for it. The dealership took care of me (not to mention knowing a few people there helped...)
I really wanted a 03-04 Cobra, but I was finding that if they were in great shape...they were pricey. Couple that with nearly all are out of, or close to being out of warranty...I just wasn't feeling it. I opted for what I thought was the next best thing, a brand new GT.

John, fyi, Evan said he's seen 5+ Mustangs come to his shop with problems from forced induction. He strongly recommended leaving the car NA.
I'm more than sure you'll do your homework accordingly and will double check things twice, just didn't want something to happen and then not have told you what I heard.
Enjoy the car!

Ya, this one is staying NA. I'll go the bolt-on route (exhaust, suspension, etc) but that's it. I definitely don't need another SC'd car...I've got the Cobra.

Even after reading all the articles in MM&FF and 5.0 mag, I take their results with a grain of salt. Its a big gamble... brand new stang + blower + bad or no tune = Boom and an un-happy stanger!
