I think the 7-up '90 vert LX 5.0s are kinda cool if 5-speed.

7-ups were not california editions.....just a limited edition for '90
it was a failed attempt from NCAA to do a giveaway, and ford already started making them (thats where the color scheme, and hence the name cam from)so they just offered it.
not sure how that got out, but a lot of people call them that.(cali ed. that is)
i sold my old 7-up to fostang on this site, he bought it for his moms

The '06 California Edition seems like a waste. First it is based on the V-6 and then put some different badging, some GT wheels, some minor suspension upgrades and stripes. Nothing like the original California Special which had the Shelby look in the rear. Maybe Ford should put the Shelby GT 500 front end on the base GT and call it the California Edition.
