I'm at a point in life where I don't know what to do. I'm currently 19, turning 20 in August, and working. School is something I want to do...but I just don't do it. I'd rather work than go to school.

Today, the thought popped in my mind, "Why don't I enlist?"

I just want some information from anybody that went to the NAVY. Experiences, how it was like, boot camp, pay, benifits; any information please. I'm still not sure about it but information is needed.

Thanks in advance!

I did six years in the NAVY. Boot camp was easy. I spent 1 1/2 years in school for computers. Then the rest of the time was on a ship. After I got out I've been able to make great money. I spent alot of time away from the states and went to some great places. I also spent 9monthes in the first gulf war. You will have your times of I hate this and it sucks. But over all it was well worth it and I had some of the best times of my life. Pays not the greatest but they house you and feed you. Talk to the recruiter and try to do as best you can on the test you have to take. Based on those scores are what schools/rates you can go for. Try to pick something that will crossover to the realworld. Good luck.
