My boys 82 with a 91 gt body kit weighs 2400 without him in it, it has an aluminum dash, 10 point roll cage, and no interior but a drivers seat! So it can possibly be "stupid light" John (duncan motors) probably has 1 of the lightest coupes that not gutted jus by removing a countless number of bolts and weldin where the bolts once were

I know how we can fix this. 50 Is your buddy from the Sacramento area too? I know of a free public scale. Rounds in increments of 20lbs so it won't be off much.... Just saying.

Not mad bro, just pointing out internet BS when I see it. 2200lbs and you have a cage. Is the cage made out of 1.5" electrical conduit? I've personally done the gutting of my race car. I race against several gutted race cars. Your numbers are off unless you have acid dipped the chassis and are using all carbon fiber body panels. Not one American Iron racecar in the entire country weighs anywhere near what you are claiming and these guys put 10s of thousands of dollars into lightening their cars. Hell, it's difficult to get a Miata under 2200lbs with the driver. Maybe you swiss cheesed the entire chassis, good luck in a crash.

Jae Jae, You gotta tell the guys at Cortex to come check out AIX Outlaw with NASA. I've seen the lap times most of those guys run and they are getting smoked by Andy Sutak and Daryl Anderson. Our group is more of a fair match for them, we have 5 regular guys running right now, we'd love to have more. Our next race is at Buttonwillow Oct 8-9.
