I am a mild fan of the warriors, but they will be exiting the playoffs very quick. They got the Mavs in the first round. *looks for broom*
The Miami v Chicago series will be the best of the first round IMO.

Congrats to the Warriors!!...they closed out the season well and won ALLLL the games they HAD to win. This team is playing well and will be a force in the playoffs. I predict 7 games and a GS series win over Dallas. Dallas shoulda played their starters against the Warriors the other night when they hadda chance to eliminate GS...I think Avery Johnson will regret that decision. The Warriors are a FAR better #8 seed than the Clips. I'm not tryin' to "think" positive here, the Warriors are playing great and they match up VERY well with Dallas. Even if one or the other puts up career numbers there is a good possibility that Baron will have a triple double, Jrich will put up 20 pts, Stackhouse can't match up agaist Harrington, Monte will slice and dice, Biedrins will be solid, Jackson will hit his marks and the bench will come up with solid numbers as they have been for the past month. Mavs are an awesome team but don't underestimate the underdog which has talent and hunger.

I know Dallas can be beat and there is a remote chance GS can do it. 8th seeds can win. Denver did it with Mutumbo years back. but the chance is remote GS will do it. And I mean remote! But that is why they play the game(s) regardless because that unknown is still there.

Not to mention to that this past 16-5 run they had was with the toughest schedule in the league...They're all healthy and vibing together just at the right time.

Dont bet the farm on the Warriors. Thats pretty much all I can say. But like I say, unlikelier things have happened and who knows all the moons may align, haley comet will pass over, J-Rich will find a four leaf clover and Dirk may miss his flight 4 times and the Warriors win. i m not that confident to bet the farm,, but I will say that the warriors have a very good chance against the mavs.. their matchups against the mavs are very good.. Harrington and jackson are going to smother dirk!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that the Warriors have a legit chance. Don't get me wrong, the Mavs aren't 65-17 for nothing, they're a good team...the best this year without a doubt. As some of you guys said, the Warriors are gellin' like Magellan right now and are 5-0 against the Mavs over the last 2 seasons, 16-5 in their last 21(the toughest schedule over that span). Everyone's healthy now and confident. I've heard several commentators mention that these Warriors remind them of the SUNS. I've just gotta feeelin' that the mighty Mavs are goin' down. As I said, Avery shoulda played his starters and eliminated the Warriors when he had "a chance" to do it(kinda disrespected the Warriors abit by not doing so, the Warriors are NOT afraid of Dallas). I see 7 games with a Warriors series win. If nothing else, the Mavs coulda rolled over the Clips in 4 and he coulda saved his team some freshness IIIFFFFF they move on. Game on Sunday, Can't wait

i admit that the warriors might not get passed the mavs, but they will give them a run for their money. it should be a good series to watch. if they can get the mavs to get into an up and down run game, the warriors will have a good chance of winning. realistically, i see the mavs take it in 6 . let's hope i'm wrong though. i'm just excited to be able to root for them in the playoffs.
