Yea, in this market, he's lucky to get $10k for it, regardless how clean it is...I do remember that car though. Although I'm not a fan of chrome "dubs", that car looked better with the BLING rims...

that one sold for 23k a few weeks ago.
19k for that car is insane. its worth it in parts but as a complete car there is no way he'll get close to that.

That Termi-swap mystic is an example of a fox worth the money if I ever seen one. And even he can't get that kind of dough.
The major appeal in fox Mustangs is the price. Lots of fun for not a lot of money. If that goes, I think people would rather step up to batter platforms (Termis, E46 M3's, Vettes, etc).
I would take any of those cars before a built fox, but it does not hurt to try as it only takes 1 person to think it's worth it and hand over the bucks. [ April 14, 2010, 01:46 PM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]

i saw it at the apex show when the previous owner who built it had the car. definitely there is no question it is a clean car that was built with good stuff but realistically it will be difficult to get 19k when at that price range you're looking at a lot of nice cars. also the buyer would have to fork over cash as most banks wont finance 19k on a fox body. yes it only takes one buyer but he may be holding onto that car for sometime to find the lucky buyer...
if u remember even back then when shaun was tryign to sell at 14k, it sat forever even in better economic times. [ April 14, 2010, 02:18 PM: Message edited by: venomous99 ]

STOP GUESSING, YOU LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT! I've seen the car from about a foot when Shaun was installing my alarm. It was at this shop with head gasket issues.

It was a nicer car when Shaun had it, I believe he removed the stereo and video game system. Also, isn't it a 4 cylinder car by vin?
When Shaun had it, everything minus the interior was top notch, the stereo was all custom, engine was clean enough to eat off etc, but 19k... nope

Funny, I'm in SL all the time and I haven't seen it once
And you would think the guy would have more then just 4 pictures when selling a car that expensive, he needs pics of the engine bay, interior, state the miles, and if it was a 4 banger conversion or not.

its probably locked up the garage to be safe from all the thieves out there. thieves would be drooling if they saw that car parked unattended in san leandro.

+1 "this car was featured in 5.0 magazine and is completely redone from head to toe" Y not post the article or a link talkin about it, that would help the sale alot! Clean notch but not S19 stacks clean!
Still good luck with the sale
