Topic: *UPDATED pg1* Sacramento/Stockton/Bay area meet 1/9/2010

Hey I'm looking to put together a meet for the new year. This one will be a late night event and just an opportunity to shoot the shit and hang out for a little. Maybe some street tuning. I would like to get together guys from the bay, sac, and stockton in one location, but it will probably done in the middle of where we have the most people.
****Not a hyphy/sideshow event****
******UPDATE********
For the most part we will chill and pop the hoods a little bit. Weather is supposed to be clear on Saturday. Once we get to sonic and it gets a little later we can figure out the best places to handle some other activities. So be easy the first part of the night and keep ur nuts in teh sack. The sooner we start making noise, the sooner cops show up and start sending people home.
I looked at the parking lot for sonic and we will probably spill over to surrounding lots if we have a good showing. Just a heads up since parking is always an issue with large groups. SF guys I'm not sure of your area so I can't pick a spot for you to meet. But at least you got the times. SSF 50/cali95gt appear to have a good grasp on things so I'm hoping they will set something up. Here's the times.
Sac area Meet: Ikea in west sac @ 800pm
Sac Area Depart: 830pm
Vallejo Area Meet: Home Depot (admiral callaghan) @ 930pm
Vallejo Area Depart: 10pm
Group meet: Sonic (6055 Main st) @ 1030pm
So basically the timing is setup to where we will arrive @ home depot 30 mins after closing so the lot will be empty. Then we can get to sonic with plenty of time to still order food and it should be pretty empty since the clubs and parties haven't been shut down yet. I will get a map up soon. If you forsee any issues with my timing let me know.

Weather channel is predicting NO rain and scattered cloud cover. High of 60 and low of 44. Sounds decent to me

Yeah this is looking like a promising event. I will definitely hit up dustin to see what input he has when I go by his spot later.
If anyone has suggestions of a good midway point to meet let me know.
As far as I'm concerned its the more the merrier. But a group of muscle cars at night or on a freeway draw attention. That only gets compounded when u start throwin in scrapers and ish. I wanna keep the risk of cop involvement to a minimum

Yeah i agree. If you wanna do "street tuning" go do it away from the group but when you come back to the group try and be mature and responsible so the entire group doesn't have to spread them and ruin the night for everyone.

Im down for this event 4 sure fellas. BUT, I will say this, street tuning is only a good idea when you roll out with a small group of cars, but in a large group, it just causes problems. A large group meet up at night will draw attention from cops in the 1st place, & when you add agressive driving & racing into the mix, your asking for trouble....

Well I guess ill stand up and be the first to say. Every meet I have ever been to in SAC there has always been "street tuning" . Especially when we roll out to a spot. We are supposed to cruise and what not but everyone ends up going like 90 mph to get there. Its a guarantee there will be racing, especially on the freeway.
