I know a couple people were interested in this last time I posted so I wanted to give you guys the heads up that this saturday, 3/28/09, is the first American AutoX Series event at Alameda base for 2009.
AAS events have tracks that are geared towards muscle cars...bigger turns, wider lanes, and more straights! my very first autox event was with AAS and I was hooked! Check it out!!!! It's $40 or $50 for 4 runs I think.
Let me know if you go and we'll hook up out there. I'm gonna be bringing out the cobra to test it out
If you cant go saturday, they have it again on sunday 3/29.

for these events do they set up turn in, or apex cones or are you all on your own. I just went to skip barber hi-po driving course and i am totally hooked on autocross and looking to get into.

I'm still new at this, but if I'm understanding you right, yes you are pretty much on your own finding your spot, i think that's where the fun starts
