Copied from our site:
quote: On August 3rd, NorCal LS1/LT1 will be hosting an autocross in Marina (near Monterey) as a club fundraiser. Everyone is also invited to enter and give it a try. Cost is $25 for 4 runs (each run is usually about a minute), time permiting there will be fun runs at lunch and/or after the event. Ideally cars will start running at 9:00am, registration opens at 7:30. It is also recommended to walk the course before you try to drive it (between 8:00-9:00 or during the lunch break). Keep in mind also that the more entries we have the more $$$ the club makes so invite your friends. All in all it's a good time. It'll give you a chance to push your car and yourself for more than 11-14 seconds , and we'll be having TJ the "Official BBQ Masta" doin his thang on the grill. I hope you'll all try and make it out even if you don't run. -M
This is open to any cars and there is generally a good mix. Some of the Mustang guys from here showed up last year and had a blast. There is always a big turn out so come join the fun.
Here is a link to the NASA site for more detail and you can check our Norcal site for more info.

I'd like to go- $25 for 4 runs? good price, cant beat that. I'm a rookie at this- how does the classes or categories broken down.ie. is it based on engine/suspension mods???

It is broken down by suspension mods and such.
I don't know exactly how it is borken down though so just have a quick list of your mods so you can show what you have (and they will look) and they will set you up in the right class.

Check here for car classing info: http://www.moutons.org/sccasolo/
Most V8 Mustangs will fit in either FStock, EStreetPrepaired, or Street Mod depending on suspension and engine mods.
