been running 19lb injectors in my race car. switched to 24's and now it wants to start missing at 4'000 rpm and goes way rich on the wideband. any body else have this problem?

What else did you change with the injector swap. MAF, fuel pressure, timing? More info needed!

changed maf. everything else i left alone. specs are a 92 5.o, stock intake, tb, stock e7te heads, 38 lbs fuel press.

Why would you swap to 24lb injectors you don't need them... 19lb injectors are more than enough you have a stock engine

not quite stock. cam is 242/248@.050. long tubes also.

I still can't see why you would think those two mods would justify larger injectors... you still have stock heads/tb/intake

Bob, let me know when you go out next. I run the 24's just because I had new ones. Kind of odd that you are having issues. What MAF?

mass air is the brand i think. going to vegas at the end of the month. you ever think that maybe you need 19's in yours? doesn't run real fat on the top side?

did you change the sample tube in the MAF body? my car runs 24 ibs with no issues.

changed maf also. i guess just like they said, not enough air for those injectors. maf is a pro m.

Lets all keep in mind when these guys running stock eliminator are running faster than a good amount of people on here with a tons of bolt ons these aern't "stock" cars. I'd go with the 19's but the 24's shouldn't be that overly rich on the top end. Maybe a faulty maf.
