I'm looking into buying a vortech s-trim. What's the difference between the V1 and the normal S Trim?

That's the only difference? Is there a big difference in power?

There is a V1 & V2, I have never heard of a "normal S-Trim". I think the V1 IS the "normal" S trim. From what I've read and experienced the V2's make a little more boost than the V1's.

V1 & V2 refer to the type of gear's that are used in the supercharger. The V1 is the noisy one and the V2 is the quiet one & I think the v2 uses the heli cut gear and the V1 uses a straight cut which makes it whine. No power difference between the 2. Power differenceis indicated by the A, SC & S "basically the same charger but the Sc trim comes with the 6 rib setup and a few other small differnces", Si trim is the newer version of the S trim with the ability to make more boost sooner & will make more boost top end, T trim is older model but bigger than an S trim, then You get into the bigger race stuff like Y & YS trim.
