Damn, they only charged me $380 plux tax for 3.55 FMS gears and labor. That means that labor has really gone up because the price on the gears is about the same. I guess the gear oil is a lot more now!

Depends on how extensive you get with upgrades. Rebuild kit,rebuild posi,better axles? did you just want gears? some people are ghetto and just throws some gears in and check the back lash with a dial indicator.some shops will do that for you for about $150-200. If you go that route you should search the site for gear installs and consider doing it yourself. also some people in the recycler.com sell rear end semi complete for cheap...then theres t-birds.

Gear Install would be about $555.00 installed. Drive in Drive out, 1 Day by appointment. If you bring in just the diff the labor drops $100.00 so you would be $455.00 parts and labor. Let me know if you need any help.

Do you have the gears already or do you need those as well?
If you bring the rearend in I can install the gears for $199.00/labor plus any applicable parts
If you bring the car its $250.00 plus any applicable parts
Applicable parts are Shims,Bearings if needed, Gasket and oil/Friction Modifier
If you need gears it depends on what brand,ratio etc you need.
