the 99 and later trans have a magnetic speedo. while the -98 have a gear for the speedo. a few guys did this and after they finished the speedo didnt work. i tried era boxes and a bunch of stuff,but nothing fixed the problem. in the end i had to swap tailshafts and the trigger wheel with the gear drivin type. if you dont care about the speedo then it will work.
