my buddy has a 87 mustang 5.0 lx in my parking lot we are doing a 5spd and mass air conversion on it. We havent done the 5pd swap yet but when i start it and give it quick gas it has a sticky pedal and it bogs a little and pops before it revs up and it does not rev up very fast. I have a stock 88 and it reves up alot faster. Any ideas why it revs up really slowly or has a loss of power?
p.s. i have the timeing at 10 degrees advance just to make sure it's not because of the timeing.

I'd run the codes after the computer has had some time to adjust.
