Originally posted by tRiCkYDiK: [QB] I have a couple different sounds coming from my 98 GT convert. The first sound comes when I accelerate at low RPM’s or take off in second gear and sounds like it may be coming from my transmission or drive shaft; however the car shifts and drives fine it just this sounds irritates the hell out of me! The second sound sounds like it's coming from the rear of the car and it also only happen when I first take off or at low rpm's. The only thing I can think it may be is my X-pipe I put in two weeks ago. I have flows and custom piping and with the install of the x-pipe the custom piping hits the bottom of the body and I think this may be causing my vibration and sound. But could this be my rear end? Lastly My clutch makes a noise when I push it in, I think this is my throw-out-bearing but as I said the car shifts and drives fine so I have no clue. Could a clutch adjustment fix this sound or would think I need a new clutch, if so what should I go with? Thanks for any feedback you might have! [/QB]
