I want to get a shift kit for my 95 mustang with vortech s-trim & 3.73 gears but w/ AODE. I don't know which is better though. The transgo kit or the baumann kit. They are both $100.00 so I Want to know which one gives me the bang for my buck!!

I heard nothing but bad things about the Transgo. I'd go Baumann, I run it in my stock 89lx and works great and it allowed me to raise my shift points.

The transgo is a good kit, I've used it for many years with no problems. Only bad thing is it allows the AOD overdrive band to go WOT, damaging it whenever you hit the gas.

I'd go with Baumann. TransGo only has three settings, Baumann has five.

I have the transgo in mine and it works good. How many more setting do you need besides mild, medium and aggressive...

very agressive...and all out balls to the wall. I recommend Baumann. I am very happy with mine after the TransGo kit damaged my O/D band.
