Originally posted by Quick 88LX: [QB] I could be wrong but there are supposed to be little fender flare things that are added onto the bottom of YOUR 86 fender. Take those off and put them onto the 82 fender and it should work fine. What I mean by fender flares is that there is a little piece of "ground effects" that 87-93 LX's have on them in the front. Without that piece, the fender looks like it is more rounded or curved inwards. Once you put that little plastic piece on there, it looks sweet. I am sure the 86s are the same. SOMEONE FEEL FREE TO GIVE MORE INSIGHT ON THIS PROBLEM :D I am not a pro with the pre 1987 cars. Good luck [/QB]
I have an 86 gt with a minor dent on the fender, instead of fixing it. I went down do the junk yard and bought a mint 82 fender but the problem is that they look different at the buttom towards the front. The 82 has more of a curve it looks like to me. Are they the same or am i just seing things....
