Well my power door lock on the passenger side took a shit last week and it is really hard to lock it now even using the key. I can get another actuator but it's off the driver side of a parting out car. Are the actuators driver and passenger side specific?

The locks are not side-specific. If you want a fix for it now, just pull the clip off the actuator end..your door will lock/unlock just fine.
