I personally have a NX ket with GenX-2 upgrade and remote opener. Everything that i got on my car ran me lil over $1200.
So one vote for the NX kit.
I know there are a few guys on here that are NX dealers and should give you a pretty good deal.

NX. My buddy runs mid 12's @ 112 in his 02 GT. Basically stock except the 100 shot, gears, and drag radials.

I heard the only big difference is the nozzle, is this true? Can I just get a cheap kit and a nx nozzle with the same performance?

Why go cheap? I would mix-n-match anything... Just like saying, why not use NOS jets in my NX kit?

No offense but,
why go expensive and only do 13.00?
Why buy a $20 shirt at macys when you can buy a $3 shirt at wal mart?
If you have money to blow give it to me and I will spend it wisely.

he did 13.0 in a 98 gt auto, not far from stock except nitrous, on 18" rims with street tires, the nx kit dropped him 1.3 seconds, i would sau thats damn good
why get an nx kit over a cheaper kit, because nx stands behind everything they make, make more power out of the box with less fuel than any other kit, and if u go by what locals run and like, i havent seen a single vote for anything except nx, and its all from people who use nitrous (i think anyway), not just internet hipe
tony i will give u a good price on a kit, u know that, just call my cell if u want a kit

I run a mix-n-match setup too (NX shark nozzle, NX 'noids, NOS bottle, NX heater, NOS opener) don't try to tell me the NOS bottle isn't going to support a 150 shot, LMAO.

66AC Cobra wouldnt it be in your benefit for Jon to spend extra $$$ and buy the whole nx kit from you, so your opinion is kinda one sided on what he asked.
I think it would be in Jons best interest to go buy a "shade" system.
I heard a toothbrush is also included in a shade kit. [ August 05, 2003, 01:08 AM: Message edited by: FordPny ]

Would you brag about a Wal-Mart shirt?
I also gained 12 mph in the 1/4, i think thats pretty good too. Now if i can get some DR's lose some weight in the back, by taking out my spare tire, speaker box and back seats(soon doing a rear seat delete) I know i will be good for 12's, no problem! Then sometime later get a Stall for my slug....G'night!

I won't endorse one brand over another, but the NOS 5171(125 shot) kit on this car pushed it into the 12's. I spent less than $2000.00 total, including dyno time and a two-way chip.
They all do well when set up properly. [ August 07, 2003, 05:18 AM: Message edited by: iron281 ]

I didnt know this was still high school and only cool kids were the ones with the brand name.
gain of 12mph is sick as fuck but Jons not going to spend 2600 for it when he could do it for much much cheaper.
What were saying is NX nozzles are sick and no way we would use anything else, but you know we dont care what color the bottle is and what kit the nitrous lines came out of.
So again it makes much more sense to go with the shade system.

Bro do you live in sac? if yes then I will help you to install your kit for you. I live on NOS and thats the company I would go with. NOS is safe as long as you do every thing right.
