What dose it take to convert a carb to efi, and if its 68 block can it still pass smog with stock heads and stock efi intake<--I know stupid question but I wanna make sure.

Pretty much everything swaps over from one motor to the next. Just make sure the heads that are on it have the Air injection holes at the back of the head... not much else different. If its an old motor, it might also have the regulat firing order (1 5 4 2 6 3 7 8), which means you might have to change the cam to a newer HO firing order (1 3 7 2 6 5 4 8).
