That's going to be tough, that radiator is 96 only as it is smaller than 97+ Some cars were retrofitted with larger 97+ radiators through a Ford TSB when overheating was an issue.

Yeah I knew that over heating part. I just picked up a Mach 1 2004 aluminum radiator.👍

thought that had to do with the condenser and the amount of fins..
added a fluidyne to my 96 with a 97 cobra swap had no issues course i also took out the a/c system completely

That is also part of the problem, the condenser has more fins between tube causing even more of an airflow blockage. I have a Mishimoto radiator for 97+ available, but it looks like you found one. I would suggest swapping to the later condenser as well
