Looking for something aftermarket..This stock one has about had it and is barely charging my ride. KMK what you got and you would have to sjip to 90301. I would pay for that of course. LMK.
Thanks,
Chris

This is probably your best bet: http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2001/03/paperformance/
Here is what I did a while back when I did a 3g upgrade on my old 90 LX. I went to pick n pull and got the 3g out of a taurus, took it to an electrical shop, got a deposit for the core and walked out with a brand new 3g alternator for like $130. If you've got a fox, a 3g alt is all you'll really need

Just get a 3g. There's a post on stangnet that will give you all the info you need. It's actually pretty basic.

What year Taurus? Any wiring or mounting issues? All that I would need is the core and $130, right?!?!

Just go to any parts shop like Kragen and get a reman. Sn-95 alternator. Make sure you get a lifetime warrenty also so anytime it fries you can just exchange it for another one as long as you have the receipt.
It's like $120-130 and the wiring is pretty cinch.

Is there any mounting issues and what are the wiring issues?

All you have to do mounting-wise is grind a mounting tab to fit the bigger alternator.
The wiring is explained in Got50's link..
