I've tried Pliney before from my cousin and it was amazing...the taste reminded me of a pine tree for some reason. What are some stores where I can buy bottles of the good stuff? [/qb]
Where are you located? There are a lot of great shops in the bay area. [/qb]
I'm in Hayward /castro valley. Any recommendations of where to pick up some good craft brews to try out? As mentioned above, Drakes is local and I do like their beers, but I'd like to try out some other recommended brands. [/qb]
Hayward has buffalo bills, but thats more of a resturaunt than tap room. Fremont has a couple tasting rooms in their liqour stores. Cork n bottle or whole foods on Mowry or mission liqours or calicraft on mission. My favorite is mission pizza just off 680 and Washington. They have 35 beers on tap. You gotta try knee deep simtra. Stronger than drakes denoginizer. Two of those and you won't be able to drive home lol. [/QB]
