I have the 17x9 SC replicas with 255s on the front of my 91 LX and 17x10s on the rear with 275s. In order to put the 17x9s in front, I had to put steering limiters in the front set so the inner wheel wells would not rub (I think it’s the control arm).
I've been thinking about replacing the front wheels with 17x8s so I can remove the spacers and get a full turning radius again. Tight u-turns always make feel like I have to them with a 3 point turn.
Questions… • Will my 255s fit on 17x8s ok? • What would you guys do/which SC staggered set did you guys go with?

I have had many 9" fronts on a Foxbody and that's my on complaint, making u-turn unless I slide it around, that's why I switched to a 8" rims on my GT, I run 245/45/17

You could always modify your control arms or go tubular

17x8. I used to rub 17x9 on full turns, sometimes, but either way it fucked the inside lips of my wheels.

tubular a arms cost around 200 and are very easy to install. on top of that, you get new ball joints.
