Just spent 500 bucks at 50resto trying to get my mclaren back on the road so I purchased a new core support head lights and smooth fender aprons and the shock tube prop rods. It all ships out "SUPPOSEDLY" and all I get is everything but the core support last week on its due date of Friday I believe when it says I've been tracking 2 boxes with ALL my parts but no worries maybe the ups guy fucked up! I call today find out it's out for delivery come home all smiles to a giant core support wrapped in nothing but plastic wrap and the manufacturer plastic bag....shrug it off its metal pretty sturdy I'd imagine. Get ready to take some measurement for a custom radiator and what do I find?!? Scuff marks all over the damn thing and last but not least a giant fucking bend on the driver side area just under the impact bar hole! I could deal with scuffs just black paint but a bent brand new core support I payed good money for to replace a existing bent piece?!?!?? I'm so pissed guys I'm not scrapping the project or throwing in the towel but this shit is ridiculous I want a MAJOR HEFTY COMPENSATION for this shit I'm talking free express shipping of a new one and a major credit towards my next purchase I'm fucking pissed

ive bought from lmr a several times and 2 out of those times i recieved damagaed parts even them being in there packaging i called them with all the tracking info and arrival date got new parts sent out and did have to send m stuff back

did you take pictures as it was when you received it? Was it a signature required delivery? They're a well known company so I'm sure they will make it right, good luck

I've ordered many things from LRS and haven't had any issues with anything, although I've never ordered anything as big as a radiator support. That's big and bulky to ship and handle. Give them a call and they will make it right. You might even get an RMA (they pay to ship it back), but I doubt you'll get any credit for future purchases. Hope I'm wrong!!

I've dealt with them for many years, give them a call they definitely make mistakes and shit happens during shipping but they have always been good at fixing crap.

I'm gonna call on my lunch break I took a pic of the bend I could have dealt with the crappy packaging as I already spoke with someone early this morning and he said that's how they ship but he assured me it will get taken care of

ive had them send me three wrong axles in a row before, besides poor quality on reproduction parts, they have been ok, the manager called me back and apologized and has givin me a almost unlimited 40 percent off for one big order. ive been saving it for years for that one gd hook up. james i would of never gotten a after market radiator support, unless if your not worried about exact fitment, nothing matches like a ori one. it might cost more to cut one off and use that, but the quality would be much better.

Yeah they suck...I had "new" bent window trim once in a nice box which means they shipped me fucked up parts never again.. summit FTW

shit happens. deal and move on. i've had excellent dealings w/LRS and will continue to use them. sorry that it happened to you, i'd be upset as well.

Tell them you want it for free now and you're going to sue them if they don't, if they will not cooperate contact a lawyer and get rich since you were shipped a damaged part.
