I have personally felt the wrath of the new GTR, once that awd kicked in all the way he was gooooooooooooooooooooooooone meanwhile I'm back there spinning tires. Makes me want to roll on drag radials all day

There is a part 2 and the Shelby takes a respectable fourth (GT-R was I believe third with a lower trap speed as the Shelby was gaining). MT picked these cars as not the fastest quarter miler cars, but cars that fit within their "driver's car category" which basically means cars that do well in all areas (street, track, everyday driving). That is why you don't see a Veyron, a ZR1, or a viper in there:). I wish the drag race was longer (like a half mile). It would have been cool to see the Shelby pull and pass the GT-R
