I have had a few "estimated speed" tickets, they always get thrown out. Plus you can ask him for the radar print out that he supposedly has.

I'd go over to ticketassassin.com and request a trial by written declaration.

You guys do realize that speeding tickets existed before radar guns were invented, right?

id go to court...ive been dismissed before cuz the dummy cop didnt have proof. make sure your ticket doesnt have anything about a radar/lidar referenced..
or ticketassassin...worked for me too but you have to pay up front. if you win, you get your money back. if you lose, you can still apply for traffic school. [ May 14, 2011, 12:57 AM: Message edited by: BUKSING ]

I fight any ticket I ever get. Just check the "Trial by written declaration" option and follow the instructions on ticketassassin.com
there's always a chance the officer will not fill out his side of the paperwork and you will get let off
