ive already figured that there is a leak comin from the header where it attches to the motor...im usin new gaskets from ford racing. but if i retighten the header bolts and it still leaks, can i reuse the gasket? or would it be better to get fresh ones? also, can i put a little bit of oil on the outside of the gasket/header to see if indeed there is a leak coming from that section? kinda like puttin water on a bike tube...i dont know if thats been used...and if none of this works, im assuming a warped flange...back to stocks i go.
and btw, when i took out my stock headers, the prior owner, or whoever, did not have any header gaskets, straight metal to metal?!? is that a new trick or what...

you can use orange I believe high temp exhaust gasket o2 sensor safe rtv right over the gaskets that aren't sealing for you, sometimes can help with a seal area that isn't straight.
