Were they never intending to buy the car what was the scam? Or was it a realy low offer and they never intended to offer close to what you were asking. Just wondering [/qb]
Honestly, I did not know it was a dealership. I received a call from a person named "Ryan" this morning. He told me he was a stay at home dad and couldn't make it to my area, but was going to be in Orangevale area before 1600 hours(4pm) and if I could meet him at the Jack N' Box on Madison and Greenback. Assuming it was a private buyer I said sure... I would never knowingly go to an auto dealership to sell my car. I am not in a hurry to sell my car, but I did just get a good deal on a Prelude from my aunt, so I need to make room. But we all know used car dealerships are in the business of making money and I expect them to low ball. This guy Ryan was bait to get me out there and then they attempted to hook and sink me...waste of time and to me that is worse than the low ball. Reputable, professional businesses shouldn't be pulling this crap. [/QB]
