Those 2 have the best chase scenes... Ronin is the better of the 2.
What about Vanishing Point? Or Days of Thunder? (J/K on that second one)
Still, IMO, American Graffiti is the best car flick. [ March 27, 2010, 12:33 AM: Message edited by: iceman302 ]

One of my favorite subjects.... 'Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry' is the best movie ever made IMO. 'The French Connection' & its sequel 'The 7-Ups' both have great car chases. Any movie with Steve McQueen or James Garner is going to have great cars. 'The Driver' with Ryan O'Neil is way under appreciated. 'The Road Warrior' is better than 'Mad Max' For an awesome thriller watch 'The Car'. The inspiration for Christine. The Car was actually built by George Barris off a Lincoln chassis. Not a car movie but 'Red Velvet' is an indie horror movie with a 69 Mustang and a 70 GTO both of which I built. I wanted a credit for 'Car Builder' but got 'Executive in Charge of Production' instead. Whatever. And what looks like a great car movie to be check out 'Clutch' www.clutchthemovie.com Great thread Fasthatch [ March 27, 2010, 05:05 AM: Message edited by: Maxoctane ]

Gone in 60 Seconds (the newer one)
Transporter 1
Hollywoood Homicide & 2 Fast 2 Furious (simply becuase they both have S281 SC's in them)
and I'm not gonna front, the FIRST Fast and The Furious was dope... don't lie now!
and that crap Taxi movie with Queen LaTifa... the movie sucked, but the chase scenes were pretty dope. Crown Vic was gettin it!

I liked the gt350 in war of the worlds getting sideways. Bullet and ronin had good chase's ...... Han solo had no "bars" in American grafitti
I've never seen two lane black top but I've been wanting to buy it cause that's a cult classic car film. [ March 27, 2010, 10:29 PM: Message edited by: Slowback ]

I can't argue with this list. Although, Bullit would not be on my list of best car movies. Best chase scene, yes...but, as a movie, it was a crap. Hot Rod (1979) is at the top of my list because it was filmed at Fremont Drag Strip (as was American Graffiti 2)
