You cannot really name any artist in the West that is tearin sh*t up. The West has truly fallen behind. [/qb]
If not being in the spotlight by making ringtone songs and labels milking you for your one hit wonder then, yes, the West has fallen behind. Even if your mind is stuck to that logic, MC Hammer would be the best rapper of all time since he has an album that went DIAMOND. Record sales does not equate to skill or quality music. There's a reason why people THINK Nelly beat KRS-One on wax. That's like saying Kimbo is better than Randy Coutour because Kimbo's more popular. If you say Hip Hop fell off then you're just a casual listener. There's quality material with quality bars coming from ALL regions constantly. You don't think there's a Locksmith-type rapper in NY right now? Or an underground legend like Nickatina somewhere in Texas? Or a group like The Team with nothing but SLAPS somewhere in the South right now? There's more to music than just the Bay Area. I support the Bay to the fullest, but I support good music even more. LOL @ Rap is garbage now... when SLAUGHTERHOUSE released one of the hottest albums out in 09 and Ya Boy dropped a MIXTAPE that went harder than 98% of people's albums in "Chapter 1: The Rise" a few years back. Royce Da 5'9 had the best album in the last quarter of 09 hands down. [/QB]
