The reason I ask is I've never seen the C scoop trim on a K code car before. Also, the car seems to be missing the GT badging on the front fender. Regardless, looks like you've got a clean car. Jesse [/qb]
Both the fender and door tag VIN's match. On K code cars, the block and tranny are also stamped with the VIN. All the numbers match. As for the GT badging, that was an option package and not all K's were GT's. Interestingly enough, this is a pretty bare bones, low options car. For starters, you could not get AC or power steering with the K engine. This is also a standard interior car. The only options the car came with are the automatic, a remote mirror, and a center console. The car even originally sat on stock steel wheels with hubcaps (which I have). It looks like the car was probably special ordered just for the drivetrain. [/QB]
