I upgraded to a 3g alternator on my 92 coupe
But when I start the car the battery lightgoes on and off and the gauge is super high up .
They wiring is a 4gauge wire from the back of the alternator to a 150 amp fuse and then to the solenoid. The plug with the yellow . green and white wire is plugged in and the wHite wire is jumped to the other single plug. And the yellow wire is connected to the stud where my 4 gauge wire is also

Is that wrong helpp please
Alternator gets super hot

The two black and organge wires merge into a larger wire. Looks like you've replaced it with a red fat red wire. Is your crimp job legit? Maybe add some flux and solder it properly? A lot of current will be flowing through that connection! Check out this guide
